An upcoming hiatus for new submissions

Please note that we plan on implementing a hiatus on new submissions starting October 1st, 2023 that will potentially extend until January of 2024. The reason for this is that we currently have more submissions in our queue than we have editors available to handled these submissions and we do not want our authors to experienced any additional delays in their manuscript decision time. We hope to use this hiatus to expand our editorial board and streamline our editorial processes. Note that we will continue to process all manuscripts that are currently in review, currently in revision, or that are submitted before October 1st.
